Marking the beginning of an ongoing dialogue between Mouvements Modernes and RDAI, the inaugural exhibition Cercles invites a sensitive reinterpretation of the two houses’ legacies, shaped by a shared vision of contemporary creation.

From past cycles, new resonances emerge.

Founded in 2002 by Pierre Staudenmeyer, co-founder of the Néotù gallery, Mouvements Modernes is now led by Sophie Mainier-Jullerot. Over the years, she has developed a distinctive expertise at the intersection of 1980s–90s historical design and contemporary creation, fostering a dialogue between eras and artistic expressions.

Founded in 1972 by Rena Dumas, RDAI is an architecture, interior design and design agency, now directed by Denis Montel and Julia Capp. Each project is rooted in its context, seeking a balance between function, use, and aesthetic sensibility, with a constant attention to detail and craftsmanship.

With these same intentions, Mouvements Modernes and RDAI will shape a program of exhibitions over the coming months, extending this dialogue while revealing new creations and collaborations.
